Students who achieve qualifying results in SIMCC may become eligible to participate in international competitions and global finals such as SIMOC, SMGF, IJMO, or other approved global events according to the official qualification criteria.
Qualification is generally based on students’ performance, rankings, and award categories achieved in SIMCC. Students may need to obtain a minimum award level, such as Gold, Silver, Bronze, or other qualifying recognition, depending on the requirements announced by the organizers.
For certain global competitions, additional training, selection rounds, or preparation programs may be recommended or required before final qualification. Eligible students will receive official invitations, registration guidelines, and participation instructions from the Country Partner or organizing committee.
The registration process for global finals usually includes completing an official registration form, submitting payment, and confirming participant details within the given deadline. If international travel or participation packages are required, detailed information regarding accommodation, travel arrangements, event schedules, and package inclusions will be shared officially with qualified participants and their parents or schools.
- Qualification Pathway: Only top-performing medalists (typically Gold, Silver, Bronze, and occasionally Honorable Mention awardees with specialized training) from the local round qualify to register for major international final events like the SIMOC Global Finals or STEAM AHEAD.
- SIMCC Scholarship Points (SPs): High performers accumulate SIT (SIMCC International Talent) points within an academic cycle (August 1 to July 31). These points build toward exclusive induction into the International Youth Honor Society (IJHS) and scholarship opportunities. +1
- Refund Policy: Fees paid for provisional or final registrations for local or global competitions are generally strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
